East Leake Preschool Playgroup is a long-established, committee-run charity that has been supporting children and families in our community for over 60 years. We are proud to offer a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
Our setting is designed to feel like a home from home, where children can explore, play, and grow at their own pace. We have three dedicated spaces to support different stages of development.

For children aged 2-3 years, focusing on early exploration, confidence building, and settling into group experiences.

Children learn to be kind, caring, and considerate - understanding their own feelings and showing empathy towards others.
Children are supported to value themselves and others, learning to listen, take turns, and appreciate differences.
We nurture curious, confident learners who are encouraged to explore, try new things, and see mistakes as part of their journey.
Your voice matters
As a committee-run setting, we rely on the support and involvement of our families. We actively encourage parents and carers to volunteer and be part of our committee, giving you a voice in how the setting is run and helping us continue to provide the best possible experience for all children.
